Letter C makes two sounds: “k” and “s”

“Y” and “LL” make the sound of “J” in English:
• Yo = like the Word “joy”
• Collar= as in “Jack”
The sound of the G can change when it has the vowel e or i next to it
• Ge: coger / generación= Just like “her”
• Gi: gimnasio / gitana = “h”+“ee” sound
