8 Formas De Usar El Verbo Pasar

¡Hola a todos! El verbo PASAR es un verbo regular y puede usarse en diferentes contextos, pero casi siempre lleva el mismo significado, que es “pass” o “go by”. Veamos cuales son los usos de este verbo y su conjugación:

1. Suceder, ocurrir: Happen, ocurr:

2. Trasladar algo a otro lugar: Move something to another place:

Vamos a pasar este sofá a la habitación. Let’s move this sofa into the room.
El diseñador de interiores nos recomendó que pasáramos la cama más pequeña para la habitación grande. The interior designer recommended that we move the smaller bed for the large room.
Vamos a pasar todos los muebles a la habitación que está vacía para pintar el resto de las habitaciones. We are going to move all the furniture to the room that is empty to paint the rest of the rooms.
No queremos pasar el televisor a la habitación porque es demasiado pesado para sostener. We don’t want to move the TV into the bedroom because it’s too heavy to hold.
El banco lo pasaron para la calle 74. The bank was transferred to 74th street.
La universidad la pasaron para otra ciudad, estuvo funcionando aquí por 14 años. The university was transferred to another city, it was working here for 14 years.

3. Cruzar la calle: Cross the street:

Vamos a pasar cuando el semáforo este en verde. We will pass when the traffic light is green.
Pasemos rapido la calle. Let’s quickly cross the street.
Para llegar al restaurante Los Caminos tienes que caminar por 1 km pasando 4 semáforos. To get to Los Caminos restaurant you have to walk for 1 km past 4 traffic lights.
No pases el semáforo corriendo sin mirar alrededor. Don’t run through the light without looking around.

4. Sobrepasar un límite temporal o físico: Exceeding a temporary or physical limit:

8. Dejar de sentir una emoción: Stop feeling an emotion:

Hablamos más tarde cuando se me pase el enojo. We’ll talk later when my anger has passed.
Estoy frustrada con tu actitud, hablamos más tarde cuando se me pase. I’m frustrated with your attitude, we’ll talk later when I get over it.
